​​Horses for Life Foundation is based on a promise and a dedication ​to horses as a way of repaying them for the transformative and life-enriching gifts they generously provide to so many people. We believe our nation's equines should be honored for their role in American history, cherished as companions and work partners, and be rightly protected from slaughter, cruelty and exploitation. 

MISSION STATEMENT:

Horses for Life Foundation®​​ is dedicated to stopping the slaughter of American horses, protecting wild horses and burros on public lands, and ending equine abuse and neglect. In pursuit of our mission, our work is implemented through advocacy, public education, and legislative reform.
